“Live by who you are, and who you are will show you the way.” This ethos has taken Manchester City’s Rúben Dias from kicking a ball with friends in the suburbs of Lisbon to being one of the best defenders in world football.
When Lamborghini asked us to make a film for their Revuelto campaign, we chose restraint over spectacle. We filmed Rúben on the rooftop pitch of his high-rise apartment, practising skills above the city. The elevation was literal and symbolic. A man alone with his standards, his discipline, his drive.
By giving Rúben space to be fully himself, calm, thoughtful, exacting, the partnership feels earned. Not a footballer borrowed by a brand, but a shared language of elite performance and quiet ambition.
