When Waitrose asked us to make their Christmas film, we saw an opportunity to do something different. Christmas advertising often leans heavily into sentiment. We chose a different path, made for food lovers who want to know the story behind what’s on their plate.
To reflect their Farming for Nature commitments, we filmed at ground level. Hardened hands, breath in cold air, soil under fingernails. Capturing the pride in provenance through the steady rhythm of harvest.
Love them or loathe them, sprouts carry more than tradition. By grounding the story in effort and care, the film reframes a familiar staple at the centre of the Christmas table.
